Masterpiece 60

Easy to assemble. Elements seem to be more secure to with stand the environment the the channel master antenna in the past. Digital frequency 32 at 57 miles on a 32 foot tower with no obstruction, clear cold weather could not be locked on green with my channel master field strength meter(at the top of tower, 35 mph wind and 25 degrees). Digital channel 32 is transmitted from a tower so high (tower and land elevation) that if you could see 57 miles , you would be able to see the top half of the tower. Will purchase again with if location of customer is favorable. Simply speaking, The Jury is still out.

Haven't mounted in permanent location on roof yet (on deck), pulling in a station from 48 miles. Went with MP60 as the one station needed broadcasts on VHF7, and known for a weaker signal. No preamp (returned as not needed) through 80' of RG6. Plan to reduce to under 50'. Also bought for occasional higher winds

Very pleased with the Masterpiece 60. Easy and quick installation, on my 60 foot outside tower.
This is a quality antenna, very well built. Strong, tight fittings throughout. Not a flimsy type. Yet being full aluminum, and a few plastics, very light. Also, really not a bag of half missing bolts and nuts to assemble. Was a snap to install.
Also, excellent mounting instructions.
Bringing in ALL the stations within 60 miles.

I ordered my Masterpiece 60 antenna on July 23rd to replace a similarly sized Radio Shack model which was falling apart. It arrived on the 30th and I installed it this morning, August 4th.

The assembly was easy and only took about 10 minutes. I wanted to preset the mast clamp on the ground but couldn’t get the jaws open wide enough. The instruction sheet didn’t give a clear view of how the clamp was set up, but the assembly video on the product page gave me a perfect closeup and showed the parts were not installed correctly from the factory. Easy correction, and all was up on the roof in a jiffy.

I live northwest of Chicago, about 40 miles line of sight to the transmitters. I saw an increase in signal strength over the RS unit across the board. Channels which previously showed a 65 on my display now show a 73.

Overall, a solidly constructed antenna, well built, with improved performance. What more could you ask for. Kudos to all at Channel Master.

Used this attenna to replace a Channel Master Pro that was installed a few weeks earlier. The Pro was installed on a commercial building about 40 miles east of the Trade Center in lower Manhattan. Which is where the majority of our local off-air r transmitted from.
Pro was just not doing the job on VHF RF7; even with the VHF add on & a Channel Master preamp. RF7 kept dropping out on the Pro as described. The Masterpiece 60 was chosen because if it's better gain numbers for VHF. After install, of the 60, RF7 locked right in with a Channel Master preamp.
Plus - the Masterpiece60 is made like the old Channel Master Crossfire antennas. Such that it unfolds to assemble & thus requires less thinking to put together. Had it up on pole in 10 minutes, taking my time. Where as the Pro requires assembling pieces & can be a little more time consuming on for the 1st time.
Although Channel Master recommends the Pro over the Masterpiece60 at closer distance to transmitter, we are considering using the Masterpiece60 more often due to the better gain & easier assembly.
