Overview

The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier will amplify signals received by your antenna. This antenna amplifier is a high gain, low noise preamplifier used to allow weaker signals at the antenna to be amplified to a viewable strength, and is ideal for installations in which all broadcast towers are located at a distance of more than 80 miles. The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier is a two part unit, an outdoor amplification unit which is mounted on the mast of your antenna system and an indoor unit which powers the outdoor amplification unit. The indoor unit is stationed indoors and connects to the outdoor unit via coaxial cable. The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier is recommended for professional installers only. Due to the high gain output of this product, it can result in over amplification if not used in the appropriate scenario. Over amplification can cause issues with the television tuner’s ability to receive and display some or all channels.  (When installing a splitter with this amplifier it must be a power passing splitter, most common splitters will not pass power.)

Titan amp

Works well. It replaces my original 2 level amp which lost the high gain circuit in an electrical storm. My original DVR+ is 12 years old and still working well. I only wish they still sold the CM-750000XRC2 remote. There is a company named Buttonworx which sells the replacement membrane for that remote.

Looks are not deceiving.

The look and feel of this amp is not deceiving. The actual performance is even better. Most of the broadcast stations in my area are 60-80+ miles away. I always recommend CM for my customers.(My business sells and installs everything from scratch.) Seldom ever disappoint a customer. There’s always an exception, but 99% of the time most are happy with their reception.

Awesome and Easy to install

I had the original Titan 2 for over 10 years. Recently is stopped working (still looking into whether the preamp or the power supply is the cause). I just purchased the current Titan 2 and now I have all my DTV air broadcast stations again. Thanks Channel Master for the quick shipping.

Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier

Have had it installed (by me) for one week now. Working well. No problems. Would give it five stars if it were not for the fact that to adjust the FM in - out switch I have to put up my 25ft extension ladder to just reach it and then with a death grip on the ladder I have to unscrew the four casing screws to get inside to flip the switch. UGH!
