Bought this unit to supply OTA signal to a newly constructed home in a home run box. The mini 8 is constructed of metal and has some weight to it. It’s hefty and I don’t have to worry about it breaking due to poor construction. The use of this product ensured I didn’t over amplify the signal coming from the antenna and lose signal strength. The mini 8 simply takes the original signal from the antenna and sends that signal to each TV reducing the need for expensive amplifiers and pre amps.

Channels are back.
I used to get 67 UHF channels going through 3 splitters. Then that dropped to 5. I put in new splitters with no improvement. With the mini 8 I now get 83 channels.
