The U-Bolt and Nest Assembly is used to secure a TV antenna to a mast up to 1.5" in diameter.
I bought these to attach a GPS receiver to a 1.5 inch EMT mast I had made. They were the perfect size for the GPS bracket but just a little small for the EMT, which is my fault for not measuring properly. Nevertheless, once I used a pair of Channel Locks to squeeze the bolt ends together, they tightened snug up against the mast. Excellent quality that Channel Master is known for.
