Now I'm impressed

The other night I wrote a review about my new antenna as I was not impressed. I bought a coax and tilted my antenna and hooked it up to a signal booster and now it is working awesome. Not sure which of these moves made it better but I'm really happy. I get all the old channels I use to get plus a whole bunch more. Very happy.

Amazing performance with EXTREME 80 PreAmp 1 combo

Installed approx 26 ft high in attic (no foil on roof decking). Stations are approx 40 miles away. Receiving 141 stations & substations! Easy to install with essentially no assembly required. Got personalized support and recommendation from Channel Master tech service prior to purchase - timely and helpful. Highly recommend.

Worked great out of the box.

Received the CM80 on Monday and I stalled it the same evening. I line of sighted the CM80, cinched everything down tight and ran a channel scan. I got 100 DTV, 8 NEXTGENTV and 412 Samsung channels. I'd say that was pretty good as our previous antenna (knocked out by hurricane Helene) only got a fraction of those channels and all NO INFORMATION channels come in crystal clear. Our old antenna was impacted by rain and wind especially, which we haven't experienced since installing the CM80. But we are hopeful.

Great Antenna

Mounted this in our attic. We live about 20 miles west of Chicago and we picked up over 130 channels - some from as far away as Indiana!

This antenna could be considered the GOAT!

I tried two other antennas and could not get a few local channels, they would pixilated, unwatchable. I even tried two different pre-amps which didn't help.
I finally looked for an antenna with great gain, and better coverage (180 degree coverage).
This was my choice.
It works great, I pull in over 80 channels now.
I did use a CM 7779 pre-amp at high-gain, 30 db, with antenna on the roof.
