The Pro-Floodlight is a professional-grade smart outdoor floodlight designed for both commercial and residential applications that is engineered to solve real-world installation challenges using Channel Master’s patented Coax-Power™ low-voltage power delivery system.

The Pro-Floodlight was designed at Channel Master’s corporate headquarters in Chandler, Arizona, drawing on our decades of experience with coaxial cable and powering devices over coax, including our widely used television antenna amplifiers. As a company known for self-installation products, we set out to solve a recurring challenge faced by consumers: installing outdoor lighting in locations without access to an electrical outlet, which traditionally requires 120V AC wiring and often an electrician.

We also wanted to address another common issue. Most outdoor floodlights on the market rely on plastic housings that fade, crack, or fail over time. Consistent with Channel Master’s long-standing commitment to premium materials and craftsmanship, we engineered the Pro-Floodlight with a predominantly metal construction, ensuring durability, longevity, and a level of build quality that stands apart from typical consumer lighting products.

Instead of requiring new electrical wiring or hiring an electrician to install an outlet, the Pro-Floodlight includes an adapter that plugs into any existing outlet and sends power over standard coaxial cable. This gives you the freedom to place lighting exactly where you need it, without the limitations of existing outlet locations determining where a floodlight can be installed.

For smart functionality, the Pro-Floodlight integrates seamlessly with Apple Home / HomeKit, allowing you to control the light through the Apple Home app or with Siri. For those who do not use Apple devices, or for anyone who prefers a simple hardware-based solution, the light also includes a manual on/off button located on the Pro-Floodlight Adapter, ensuring reliable operation without the need for an app.

Engineered with high-power LED circuitry, a precision lens, and a bright 2000-lumen specification, the Pro-Floodlight exceeds the real-world performance of lights rated with much higher lumen numbers. Its professionally designed NEMA 6 beam pattern provides wide, uniform illumination without harsh hot spots, offering visibility that outperforms typical consumer smart floodlights.

Built with an all-metal, powder-coated housing and high-performance internal components, the Pro-Floodlight is engineered for long-term durability and a clean, modern appearance that’s more compact and aesthetically refined than other floodlights with comparable brightness. The included Pro-Floodlight adapter is designed for both indoor and outdoor placement, featuring a weather-sealed housing for reliable operation in a variety of installation scenarios. Also included is a heavy-duty adjustable mount for the light, a metal mounting bracket for securing the adapter to a wall, and Channel Master’s patented all-metal coaxial cable clips designed to firmly hold the cable in place without the risk of failure over time.
